Every workstation page works with a "model" — the portrait/character that your generations are built around. The model card at the top of the page shows which model is active, lets you manage it, and (for personal models) shows its linked voice model.
What is the model card?
It's the card pinned near the top of the workstation that represents the model you're creating with. It shows the model's avatar, name, age, an optional description, and social actions (heat, like, comment, share). Whatever you generate on this page uses this model.
How do I tell whose model it is?
If it's your own model, the card shows a Public toggle and an Update button. If it's someone else's, the card shows the creator instead (with a "Model creator" label on mobile) and their social links — there's no edit or visibility control, because you can view and use it but not change it.
How do I switch to a different model?
Each workstation page is tied to one model (the URL carries the model id), so you switch by opening a different model — pick another one from Home, History, or the community feed, then open its Create page. When a generation tells you to "switch to a different model," that's your cue to open another model rather than retrying the same one.
What does "No Model mode" mean?
Some flows can run without a specific model selected. A few features aren't available in that mode — if you try one, you'll see "This feature is not available under No Model mode. Please create a new model or select one created by others." To use it, create a new model or pick one made by someone else.
Why is there a banner saying my model is still being prepared?
If the model is still training, a hint appears: "Hold tight - your personalized AI model will be ready shortly." Generation results depend on the finished model, so it's best to wait until it's ready.
What do the other model status messages mean?
The card shows a colored hint when the model isn't ready:
Still training: "Hold tight - your personalized AI model will be ready shortly."
Failed: "Please switch to a different model or delete this one and try again." (sometimes with a specific reason added in front)
Paused: "Model creation is paused. Please use a different model."
Canceled: "Model creation was canceled. Please use a different model."
A failed model shows in a red-tinted banner; the in-progress/paused/canceled states show in a softer warning tint.
How do I make my model public or private?
If it's your model, use the Public toggle (mobile shows a Public/Private pill). Turning a model public lets others find and use it. Keeping content private is a paid feature: free (Nano) accounts can't create private models or private content, so trying to make something private prompts you to upgrade. See Credits & billing.
How do I edit or delete my model?
Tap Update (on mobile, open the "more" menu) to change details like the avatar, name, description, or social links. To delete, choose Delete and confirm in the dialog — deletion is permanent. You can only edit or delete models you created.
What's the voice model shown on the card?
For a ready model, the card can show a linked voice model — a small pill with a waveform, a play button to preview it, and the voice's language. If your personal model has no voice model yet, you'll see a Create Voice Model chip to add one. From the voice pill's "more" menu (your own models only) you can view details, update, or delete the voice model. See Voice models for the full story.
Can I like, comment on, or share a model?
Yes. The card has heat and like buttons, a Comment action that opens the comment thread, and a Share action. Sharing only works once the model is public — if it isn't, you'll be asked to make it public first.
On mobile
The model card is more compact: the avatar sits on the left, and visibility/edit controls collapse into a Public/Private pill plus a "more" menu. Comments open in a bottom sheet rather than inline. The linked voice model and its actions still appear under the model's name.
