Two more action-bar controls shape your output: Aspect ratio sets the shape of the frame, and Quantity sets how many results you get from a single Generate. Both appear only in the modes that support them.
What is the Aspect ratio control?
It sets the shape (width-to-height) of what you generate. Tap it to choose from a list — each option shows a tiny rectangle preview of the shape. The available ratios are:
9:16 (tall / portrait)
3:4 (portrait)
16:9 (wide / landscape)
4:3 (landscape)
1:1 (square)
It's used in image generation and Text to video. Other modes that derive their shape from an uploaded source don't show this control.
Which aspect ratio should I pick?
Pick the shape that matches where the result will be used — 9:16 for vertical/phone content, 16:9 for widescreen, 1:1 for square posts. The default is 9:16.
What is the Quantity control?
Quantity (also shown as "Quantity") sets how many outputs one Generate produces. In Generate Image it appears on the higher tiers (Ultra 2K, Ultra 4K, Ultra S 4K), where you can choose 1 or 2 (default 2) — it isn't shown on Fast, which already returns a batch in one go. More outputs cost more — at those tiers the price multiplies by the number you make.
Why don't I see a Quantity control?
Quantity only appears in Generate Image, and only on its Ultra 2K / Ultra 4K / Ultra S 4K tiers. Fast doesn't show it (that tier already returns a set of images at once), and neither do modes that always return a single result or video modes priced per second. Where it does appear, the choices are 1 or 2 (default 2).
Does quantity affect the price?
Yes. At the multi-sample image tiers, cost scales with how many images you ask for — so choosing 2 instead of 1 roughly doubles the credit cost. The number on the Generate button updates live when you change it. See Generate & cost.
Can I change aspect ratio after generating?
No — aspect ratio and quantity apply to the next generation you start. To get a different shape or count, change the control and Generate again.
On mobile
Both controls appear as selects in the expanded workstation's action area. Aspect ratio still shows the little shape preview next to each option, and quantity offers the same 1 or 2 choices in the image flow. One mobile-only difference: Quantity shows on Ultra 2K and Ultra 4K but not on Ultra S 4K (desktop still shows it at Ultra S 4K). Pricing is otherwise identical to desktop.
