The Create workstation is where you make things on APOB: pick a model, choose what kind of content you want (an image, a video, an edit), fill in the inputs, and hit Generate. Everything you create with a model happens here, and your results appear right below the workstation in a feed.
What is the workstation?
It's the control panel on the model's Create page. From here you pick a mode (like Generate Image, Image to Video, or Talking video), set up your prompt and options, and run a generation. Each finished result lands in the feed under the workstation so you can review, reuse, or remix it.
Where do I find it?
Open a model and go to its Create page. The workstation sits at the top of the page; your generations and other creators' inspiration appear underneath it. You can switch between your own Generation feed and the community Inspiration feed using the toggle below the bar.
What does the desktop layout look like?
On desktop the workstation is a single panel split into a few parts:
Mode rail (left): a vertical list grouped under Video and Image headers. Tapping an entry switches what you're making. See Mode switcher.
Mode panel (center): the inputs for whatever mode you picked — the prompt box, image/video uploaders, reference pickers, and so on. This changes completely depending on the mode.
Bottom action bar: the row of option controls (quality, resolution, duration, aspect ratio, quantity — whichever the mode supports) plus the live cost readout and the Generate button. See Generate & cost.
Generation feed: below the panel, where finished results show up.
There's also a full-screen button so you can expand the mode panel for more room while you work.
What does the mobile layout look like?
On mobile the workstation is a bar pinned to the bottom of the screen. Tapping it expands the workstation into a full-screen takeover that shows the same pieces stacked vertically: a Video / Image category toggle and a horizontal mode strip at the top, the mode inputs in the middle, and the action bar with Generate at the bottom. Tap the close (×) to collapse it back to the bar. See Mode switcher for how the expand/collapse works.
How do I run a generation? (the basic flow)
It's the same three steps in every mode:
Pick a mode from the rail (desktop) or the mode strip (mobile) — choose what you want to make.
Set your inputs — type a prompt and/or upload or select the image, video, or audio the mode needs, then tune the options in the action bar (quality, resolution, duration, etc.).
Press Generate. Your result starts cooking and appears in the feed. The button shows the credit cost before you click it.
Why can't I generate anything yet?
Some modes can generate without a portrait model (Chat to edit, Edit image, Image to video, Talking avatar, Lip sync). For the modes that do require a model, being in No Model mode covers the panel with "This feature is not available under No Model mode. Please create a new model or select one created by others." — so there you'll need to create a model or pick a community model first. Beyond that, Generate stays greyed out until the mode's required inputs are filled in — see Generate & cost for the full list of reasons.
What controls will I see in the action bar?
It depends on the mode. Common ones are Quality, Resolution, Duration, Aspect ratio, and Quantity. Not every mode has all of them, and some of them constrain each other (for example, certain durations or resolutions are only available at certain quality tiers). See:
How do I write the prompt?
Most modes have a prompt box where you describe what you want. You can also add prompt modifiers and @-mention saved Elements to drop people, products, or styles into the prompt. See Composer & prompt.
On mobile
The whole workstation is collapsed into a bottom bar by default to keep your feed visible. Tap the bar (or the small expand tab) to open the full-screen workstation, make your choices, and Generate; the workstation closes itself automatically once a generation successfully starts.
