Account & Profile

Your APOB.AI account is how you sign in, keep your credits and subscription, and show off the models and content you create. This page covers signing up and logging in, your Profile page, account settings, deleting your account, and viewing other creators' public profiles.

Signing up & logging in

How do I sign up or log in?

Whenever you try to do something that needs an account, a Sign up or log in dialog appears (you can also open it from the Log in prompt on the Profile page). You have three ways in:

  • Continue with Google — opens Google sign-in.

  • Continue with Discord — opens Discord sign-in.

  • Email — type your email into the field and press Continue.

The same single flow handles both signing up and logging in: it figures out whether your email already has an account and takes you to the right next step automatically.

What happens after I enter my email?

When you press Continue, the app checks whether that email is already registered (you'll briefly see a loading spinner on the button while it checks). Then it moves you to the password step:

  • If the email already has an account, you'll see Enter your password and a single password field — that's the log-in path.

  • If the email is new, you'll see Create a password with a password field plus a Confirm your password field — that's the sign-up path.

Your email is shown at the top of this step with a small edit icon if you need to go back and change it.

Why won't the Continue button work?

The Continue button only activates once you've typed a valid email address. If it looks greyed out or nothing happens when you click, double-check that the email is complete and correctly formatted. If the check is still running, the button shows a spinner and won't accept a second click until it finishes.

What are the password rules when I sign up?

When creating a new account, your password must:

  • Use 8 or more characters

  • Include at least one uppercase character

  • Include at least one lowercase character

On the sign-up step you'll see an info icon next to the Password label — tap it to open a small popup listing these rules. You also have to enter the same password twice; if the two don't match, you'll get a "Passwords do not match." message. Logging in to an existing account just needs your current password (no rule check).

Do I need to verify my email?

Yes, for new email sign-ups. When you create an account with email and password, APOB.AI sends a verification email and shows the message "Verification email sent. Please check your inbox." Open that email and follow the link to verify. If your email isn't verified yet, you'll be reminded to "Please complete the email verification step first." Once it's done you'll see "Your email has been verified."

Can I show or hide my password while typing?

Yes — each password field has a show/hide toggle so you can reveal what you've typed and make sure it's correct before continuing.

I forgot my password — how do I reset it?

On the Enter your password step (the log-in path), tap Forgot your password?. Enter your email and press Confirm, and APOB.AI emails you a reset link. You'll see a confirmation screen ("Email sent successfully") telling you to check your inbox and follow the instructions to reset your password. From there you can press Resend email if it doesn't arrive, or use the Return to log in link to go back.

What does "Continue with Google / Discord" do exactly?

It signs you in with that provider's account in one step — no separate APOB.AI password needed. If you've used that provider before, you log straight in; if it's your first time, an account is created and linked to it.

Why am I told to "log in using your browser"?

If you open APOB.AI inside another app's built-in browser (an "in-app browser"), Google and Discord sign-in won't work there. You'll see a note saying to tap the menu in the top-right corner and choose "Open in browser" to continue, then sign in from your normal browser instead.

What am I agreeing to when I sign up?

The bottom of the sign-up/login dialog notes: "By signing up and logging in, you agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy." Both are clickable links that open the full documents in a new tab.

How do I close the login dialog?

Use the X in the top corner of the dialog. On the password step there's also a back arrow (top-left) to return to the email/landing screen.

Your Profile page

What's on my Profile page?

Once you're logged in, your Profile page shows, from top to bottom:

  • Your user info — avatar, display name, and Username, with an edit control.

  • Your subscription and credits — your current plan, usage, and buttons to buy more credits or manage your plan (covered in Credits, plans & billing).

  • External accounts — which sign-in methods are linked, plus Invite a friend.

  • Account settings — a button into your account-management page.

  • Language — switch the app's language.

  • Log out.

If you open the Profile page while logged out, you'll see "Please log in to view your profile." with a Log in button, and the sign-up/login dialog opens automatically.

How do I change my display name, username, or avatar?

Tap the Edit control next to your name on the Profile page. This opens the Getting started dialog where you can set:

  • Name to display — your public display name. It must be 4 to 15 characters long.

  • @username — your unique handle. It must be 4 to 15 characters and contain only letters, numbers, and underscores.

  • Avatar — upload a profile picture.

Press Save to apply. Save stays disabled until your changes are valid. Note that your username can only be updated once — if you've already changed it, the username field is locked and tells you so.

What does the External accounts section show?

It lists which login methods are linked to your account under Linked accounts:

  • Google / Email — shows the email address tied to that method.

  • Discord — shows your linked Discord username, or a Discord button to link it if you haven't.

Methods you haven't connected show Not linked.

How do I link or unlink Discord?

In External accounts:

  • To link, tap the Discord button. A Link Discord dialog explains "After linking, you can log in with Discord." Press Link account to continue to Discord. On success you'll see "Discord linked."

  • To unlink, tap Unlink on the Discord card. An Unlink Discord dialog warns "After unlinking, you won't be able to log in with Discord." Confirm with Unlink. On success you'll see "Discord unlinked."

What is "Invite a friend"?

If you're eligible for the referral/affiliate program, the Invite a friend area appears in External accounts with Your share link. Tap Copy to copy the link to your clipboard (you'll see "Copied to clipboard"), then share it with friends. There's also a Details button that opens your affiliate dashboard, where your current reward rates and payout terms are shown (these can change with promotions).

Why don't I see "Invite a friend"?

The invite/affiliate area only shows if your account has referral info available and the affiliate program is enabled for you. If you don't see it, that program isn't currently active on your account.

How do I open account settings?

In the Account settings section, tap the Account settings button. This takes you to your account-management page, which currently holds the Delete account option.

How do I change the app language?

In the Language section, use the language dropdown to pick your preferred language. The change applies immediately across the app.

Logging out & deleting your account

How do I log out?

In the Log out section at the bottom of your Profile, tap Log out. A confirmation dialog asks "Are you sure you want to log out?" — confirm with Log out and you'll be signed out (you'll see "Logged out.").

How do I delete my account?

Open Account settings from your Profile, then in the Delete account section tap the red Delete account button. A confirmation dialog appears titled "Do you really want to delete your APOB.AI account?". To enable the final Delete account button, you must type your username into the field exactly. Only then will the confirm button work.

What happens when I delete my account?

Deleting is permanent and cannot be undone. The warning spells it out: you will lose access to your account, teams, credits, datasets, models, and plans. If you have an active subscription, you will lose access to it. There are no refunds. All of your information is removed from the database.

Viewing other creators

Can I view someone else's profile?

Yes. Opening another user's profile shows their avatar, display name, and Username at the top, followed by their public models and content. You need to be logged in to view it — if you're not, the sign-up/login dialog opens.

How do I follow or unfollow a creator?

On another user's profile, tap the Follow button next to their name. Once you're following them it changes to Followed; tap it again to unfollow. The button only appears on other people's profiles, not your own.

On mobile

The sign-up/login flow, profile sections, and dialogs are the same on mobile, just laid out for a smaller screen — your avatar and info sit at the top, and the External accounts, Account settings, Language, and Log out sections stack as cards below. To edit your profile, tap the small Edit pill under your username. Google and Discord sign-in need a real browser, so if you're inside an in-app browser, use Open in browser first.
