Edit clothing is a virtual try-on tool: you give it a photo of a person and a piece of clothing, and APOB re-dresses the person in that clothing. It's the Edit clothing tab inside Edit Image. This tab is feature-flag gated, so it may not appear for every account.
How do I change someone's clothing?
Open the Edit clothing tab.
Add your Reference image — the photo of the person — with Select content or Upload image.
Choose the clothing: either pick a preset from the clothing options or upload your own clothing image.
Check the Selected clothing preview, then press Generate.
Where do I add the person's photo?
In the Reference image section. You can Select content (from your Personal media or the Inspiration gallery) or Upload image from your device. Before you add one, the area prompts you to select content or upload an image.
How do I choose the clothing?
You have two options:
Pick a preset — browse the clothing options shown as cards, grouped into categories, and tap one to select it.
Upload your own clothing image — use the Upload image cell (labelled "Uploaded clothing image" on mobile) to add a photo of the garment you want applied.
Your chosen item shows in the Selected clothing preview. Before you choose, that area reads "Your selected or uploaded clothing will appear here."
How do I change or clear my clothing choice?
Tap your selection again or use its close (cross) button to clear it, then pick a different preset or upload a new clothing image. Your uploaded clothing card has a change button so you can swap in a different file without starting over.
Why is the Generate button greyed out?
Edit clothing needs both a reference image (the person) and a clothing selection. If either is missing, Generate stays disabled. Generate also waits for your selected model to finish loading. The credit cost is shown next to Generate and depends on your plan. Edit clothing has no quality option.
Why can't I find the Edit clothing tab?
Edit clothing is controlled by a feature flag, and it's currently enabled — so the tab normally appears. If it's ever switched off for your account or region, the tab won't show up at all, and the other Edit Image tools still work normally.
What happens if the clothing image won't upload?
You'll see an upload-failed state with a Retry button to try the same file again. APOB recommends using clear images for the best try-on results.
On mobile
On mobile the Selected clothing preview and the upload cell appear first, followed by the clothing option cards in a grid. Tapping the upload cell opens a bottom sheet titled Reference image where you can drop in a clothing photo, see its upload progress, and confirm with Select (or Cancel to back out). You scroll vertically through everything.
