Edit style

Edit style is the Edit Video tool that restyles an existing video. You keep the action and framing, and change the look — for example turning live footage into a painterly, anime, or cinematic style — by describing the style you want or choosing a preset.

What does Edit style do?

It applies a new visual style to your source video while keeping its motion. The panel is labelled Style description, and you tell it what you want either in your own words or by picking one of the ready-made Preset styles.

How do I run an Edit style edit?

  1. Open Edit Video and pick Edit style from the tool switcher.

  2. Add the video with Select content or Upload video.

  3. Type a style in the prompt box, or pick a preset (see below).

  4. Adjust quality and resolution in the bottom bar if needed.

  5. Click Generate — the cost is shown next to the button.

How do I describe the style?

There's a text box with the placeholder "Describe your style, or choose a preset." Type whatever look you want — the box holds up to 4,000 characters, and a live counter shows how much you've used. A valid (non-empty) description is required before you can generate, unless you've selected a preset.

What are Preset styles?

Below the text box is a grid of Preset styles — tappable style cards. Selecting one fills in its predefined style for you, so you don't have to write a description. If there are more presets than fit, a View all option lets you browse the full set. Choosing a preset replaces the typed prompt; you can still tweak the text afterward.

Why is Generate disabled?

Generate stays off until you've added a video and provided a style — either typed text or a selected preset. If the box is empty and no preset is chosen, you'll be told to "provide a valid prompt" for the restyle. A duration limit also applies, so very long clips may need trimming — the limit depends on the quality you pick and is shown as a hint in the panel.

On mobile

The prompt box and the preset grid stack below the video. Presets scroll within the panel, and View all opens the complete set. Everything else — the character limit, the counter, and Generate — works the same.
